red bell pepper

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onion and sauté until it turns translucent for about 4 minutes.
Add red pepper and minced garlic to the skillet and saute them together for 2-3 minutes.
Add ground chicken to the skillet and break it up with a spatula. Cook until it slightly changes color, approximately 5-6 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
Add chopped basil leaves into the skillet. Stir well to incorporate the flavors.
Continue cooking for about 10 minutes.
Remove the skillet from heat and let the dish rest for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Sprinkle the remaining chopped basil as a garnish on the ground chicken.
Serve the ground chicken hot as a main dish or use it as a filling for tacos, lettuce wraps, or stuffed peppers.
