Season them generously with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a stainless steel skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced chicken pieces and cook until browned, around 4-5 minutes per side. Now, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the mushroom slices and garlic, and sprinkle salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.
Pour in the dry Marsala wine and chicken broth. Stir well to combine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the heavy cream to the same skillet. Continue simmering for about 1-2 minutes.
Return the chicken to the skillet, nestle into the sauce, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the Marsala sauce coat it nicely.
Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley for garnish and serve.
