unsalted butter

cloves
garlic
crushed

sprig herbs
rosemary, thyme, and oregano are all great options

Instructions
Pat the meat dry with a paper towel and season liberally with salt.
Heat the cast-iron skillet over high heat.
Sear steaks for 1 minute on each side, then reduce heat to medium-high.
Add in butter, garlic, and herbs.
Flip every thirty seconds for 12 minutes (or to the desired doneness), and use a spoon to baste the steak with each flip.
Let the steak rest for approximately five minutes before cutting or serving.
