Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
As it warms up, melt butter in a pan on medium-high.
Cook bacon in the pan until it's crispy.
Then, add in the chopped onions and stir until soft and translucent. Once cooked, set aside to cool.
Beat eggs, heavy cream, sea salt, black pepper, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
Fold in the cheese, parsley, and cooked bacon and onion.
Pour the mixture into a lightly oiled 9-inch pie pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until eggs are fully set.
Allow to rest in the pan for about 10 minutes, and then slice and serve.
