In the same skillet, add oil, garlic, onion, and pepper. Cook these for about 5 minutes or until they start to soften.
Next, stir in the Italian seasoning and cook for another 30 seconds. Add the crushed tomatoes, stir everything together, and taste. If needed, add a pinch of salt.
Put the sausages back into the skillet and cook them with the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until everything's hot.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
