This Sticky Sesame Cauliflower is a great plant-based and vegan Asian-inspired recipe that's perfect for low-carb and keto diets since it's sugar-free!
In a small bowl or jar, mix all the sauce ingredients together, then put it to the side.
In a big bowl, mix the cauliflower pieces with cornstarch and white pepper.
Put the avocado oil in a large skillet (10 inches or bigger) and heat it over medium-high heat.
Fry the cauliflower pieces in batches so they're not too crowded in the pan. Cook each side until it's golden brown, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to take them out, and put them on a plate. Keep going until all the cauliflower is cooked. Save any cornstarch that's left in the bowl.
Drain off any remaining oil from the pan and wipe it clean.
Place the pan back over high heat, then pour in the sauce. Bring to a simmer, then whisk in the remaining cornstarch from the bowl until the sauce has thickened.
Stir in the fried cauliflower until well-coated.
To serve, garnish the dish with sesame seeds and green onions.
