Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes Difficulty Level: Easy Recipe Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients

▫ 4 4-ounce tenderized cube steaks ▫ 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper ▫ 1 ½ tsp sea salt ▫ 1 large egg ▫ 1 tbsp heavy whipping cream ▫ ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese ▫ ½ cup (about 1 oz) pork rinds ▫ 1 tsp garlic powder ▫ 1 tsp onion powder ▫ 1 tsp smoked paprika ▫ 1 cup avocado oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg and cream. 2. On a plate, mix Parmesan, pork rinds, and spices. 3. Heat oil in a skillet. Dip each steak in the egg, then coat with the cheese mix, and fry until golden brown (3-4 mins/side). Drain. 4. To make gravy, save two spoonfuls of oil, add butter and cream, and simmer. 5. Season gravy with salt, pepper, and parsley. Thicken with xanthan gum if desired. 6. Serve the crispy steak with gravy. Enjoy!

Chef's Pro Tip

You don't want your steak's coating to turn too dark or burn because of super hot oil. Here's a trick: keep an eye on the oil's temperature. If it's too hot, the outside will get dark before the steak's even done. So, how do you know if it's just right? Use a kitchen thermometer to check! Aim for about 350°F (175°C). No thermometer? No worries. Just drop a tiny bit of the coating in. If it sizzles and turns a light golden color, you're good to go!

Enjoy every tasty bite and the delicious smells of cooking. Have fun in the kitchen and dig into a meal that's both healthy and satisfying.
